PARK RULES

 

THESE RULES HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED TO ENSURE SAFETY AND AN ENJOYABLE AQUATIC EXPERIENCE FOR ALL PATRONS.

 

NOTICE!  FAILURE TO FOLLOW LIFEFGUARD, LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, AND PARK PERSONNEL INSTRUCTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS WILL RESULT IN DISCIPLINARY ACTION AND COULD RESULT IN SUSPENSION FROM THE PARK.

 

 

All children under the age of thirteen (13) must be accompanied by an adult age 16 or over, or by a parent of the child.  Exception:  Group parties must be supervised by one adult per five (5) children.  No child will be admitted without an adult.  All children age 3 and under must be kept within arm’s reach of an accompanying adult.  If not, the adult and child will be asked to leave after two verbal warnings by the park staff.

 

 

  • LIFEGUARDS HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO REMOVE ANY PATRON FROM THE POOLS FOR ANY REASON THE GUARD DEEMS UNSAFE OR IMPROPER. ALL RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

 

  • Anyone under 18 can be asked to take a swim test by a Lifeguard prior to going into the deep water (4 ft. depth and over)

 

  • No running, pushing, or horseplay on the concrete deck areas.

 

  • No diving from the side of the pool. Diving only allowed in the designated deep area of the pool from the diving boards.

 

  • No food, drinks, or coolers will be allowed to be brought in the water park unless you have a special cause or an infant. No food or drinks allowed in the pool water area nor close to the edge of the pool deck. Food is only allowed in the designated areas posted on the signs.

 

  • All patrons will be encouraged to shower before entering the pool when entering the water park.

 

  • All swimmers must wear a conventional type swim suit. No cutoffs, thongs, athletic type shorts, nor regular clothing. No metal brads, beads, or buckles on swimwear.  ABSOLUTELY NO SAGGING pants or shorts on any guest will be tolerated.

 

  • Swim diapers are required for all children who are not potty trained. Swim diapers are available for purchase at the sales shop in the park.

 

  • No profanity, obscene gestures, cursing, or yelling will be tolerated. Violations will result in immediate suspension from the pool area.  No public displays of affection between couples.

 

  • Pool toys and inflatable flotation devices (“floaties”) will not be allowed to be brought in to the water park. Only U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation devices (PFDs) allowed.  Inflatable “arm floaties” and “puddle jumper” swim vests are allowed.

 

  • No guns or weapons of any kind, alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, tobacco products, or drugs of any kind will be tolerated inside the facility nor on the surrounding grounds.

 

  • No animals or pets are allowed in the facility, other than registered service animals.

 

 

  • The City of White Hall will not be responsible for lost or stolen items. Items left in the bathhouse will be collected at the end of the day.  Contact the pool office for lost and found items. 

 

  • No spitting nor nose blowing is permitted in the pool. Any bleeding or open wounded person will not be permitted in the pool.

 

  • No refunds allowed. Rainchecks will be issued to patrons who have a receipt showing entry to the park one hour or less before the pool closes due to inclement weather.

 

  • All patrons must use a pass or pay to enter. Patrons who wish to just watch or sun bathe must still have a pass or pay the daily fee.  Patrons leaving the gate can acquire a handstamp to get back in the park.

 

  • Persons diving, using slides, or swimming in the deep area, must be able to swim one width of the pool upon Lifeguard’s request. You must be able to swim before entering water deeper than your height.

 

  • Only one person on diving board or slide at a time. Children must meet minimum height standard of 48” to use the large slides.  Lifeguards will regulate when the next person can go down a slide.

 

  • Divers must leave the board from a standing position. No “unsafe” diving such as from a handstand or any position the Lifeguard deems “unsafe.”

 

  • No swimming around the plunge end of the slides or diving areas.

 

  • No boom boxes or other musical systems will be allowed (including music from cell phones). Headphones are permitted.  The City of White Hall will not be responsible for damage to ANY personal belongings including cell phones and mobile devices.  NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES allowed in the pools nor on the slides.

 

  • No artificial swimming aids are allowed on or near the diving boards or slides. No parents allowed to “catch” children from the large slides. 

 

  • Do not sabotage or mistreat water park property and equipment.

 

The City of White Hall reserves the right to alter any of these rules according to need at any time.
